Quotes of the week (and spam)
Sigh – came here to blog, and yet again the site has been scrawled with spam comments. In the past I’ve deleted them manually, but I just couldn’t be bothered. One of these months, Thorne will get Trouble 2 up and running, and we can throw out this stinky wiki and start over. If I was organised, I’d have started installing my personal replacement… but I’m also slack.
Anyway, my favourite quotes this week are:
“Transparency [to the customer] is required where we think there is a risk factor. In this case we don’t think there is a risk, so we don’t need to be transparent”.
(I would like to point out this comment was not from *my* employers, thank goodness.)
The second one is most poignant, and I’ll have to leave it with no context at all – if you want to know the story, just come up to me and say:
“The Stupid Error”
- Korny (who really needs an anonymous blog – not that there is really any such thing)
