It seems the old episodes of Sesame Street are not suitable to today’s preschooler.  There were too many wicked influences (like Oscar with his bad manners and questionable hygiene), and the DVDs of early episodes are being rated as unsuitable for children.  I have to admit, I’m floored.  I find the oversanitisation of today’s hyper-PC [...]

Okay, this sort of newspaper story pisses me off. The couple claim they were “forced” to walk several hours to get home. But read more closely – they walked home because they didn’t want to wake their friends.
