Pirates, The Eye and DIY
On Saturday night a group of us went to see The Pirates of Penzance starring Anthony Warlow as a quite amazing Jack Sparrowesque Pirate King. It really is a great production! The night was a bit of a downer as we were leaving however, with someone collapsing in the foyer. I had to walk away from it – it was made very clear that my help was Not Required. Guilt, who, me?
Today I watched one of the creepiest movies I’ve ever seen. It’s an Asian horror called The Eye 2, with the general premise being that after a failed suicide attempt, a woman begins to see ghosts. Very well done, heartbreaking, spooky, brilliant!
And I’m rapidly becoming an addict of the DIY Network site. Aside from all the nasty pervasive advertising on it, it’s got some pretty cool stuff there.
